Database sharing important to developing e-government

Database sharing between management agencies at both central and local levels is key to the process of developing e-government, experts have said. The Ministry of Information and Communications is compiling an e-government development strategy, with services a pillar in Vietnam’s socio-economic development model.

By 2025, 100 percent of national databases to serve e-government, including the database about population, land, business registration, finance, and insurance, are hoped to be completed, connected, and shared on a nationwide scale.
