Vietnam’s labour productivity increases

The average labour productivity in Vietnam increased from 1,700 USD per laborer in 2006 to 2,672 USD in 2017, according to the Vietnam Institute for Economic and Policy Research (VEPR). In 2017, Vietnam’s labor productivity doubled that of low-income countries, but met only 50 percent of middle-income countries and 18.3 percent of high-middle-income countries.
