Models proved effective in helping ethnic women improve their livelihoods and adapt to climate change

Four pilot projects deployed in ethnic minority areas have proved effective in helping local women gain sustainable livelihoods and improve their ability to cope with natural disasters and climate change.

The results were announced at a consultation workshop for the project on “Strengthening women’s livelihoods and participation for greater resilience to disasters and climate change in Vietnam”, held by the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) in Hanoi on April 22.
