Free e-learning platform about child nutrition launched
A free online e-learning platform dedicated to childcare and nutrition named Little Sun was upgraded and relaunched on Thursday.
Its courses cover key topics such as maternal care during pregnancy and breastfeeding, complementary feeding, care for sick children and assessing children’s nutritional status. Based on the Ministry of Health’s child nutrition guidelines, the platform offers 20 in-depth lessons on child nutrition and counseling skills for both parents and caregivers, as well as health staff seeking to enhance their knowledge and skills in nutrition and health counseling, with the opportunity to achieve certification.
