ADB approves $170-Mln loan to help Vietnam cope with climate change in urban areas

More than 30 million people are living in urban areas in Vietnam, but the impact of urbanization is variable across the country. In order to help Vietnam improve urban infrastructure and respond to climate change, the Asian Development Bank (ADB)’s Board of Directors on November 2 approved a $170-million loan to help Vietnam improve its urban infrastructure and respond to climate change.
