Draft law amending the 2014 Law on Environment Protection

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) has proposed a draft law revising the 2014 Law on Environment Protection.

The draft law specifies 13 policy groups that have been assessed for impact on people’s life. From the initial seven policy groups, the Government has added six new groups, together with the impact assessment report for all 13 groups. The draft has been discussed in the 9th session of the 14th National Assembly (NA).
