Viet Nam to build first international standard vaccine plant
A net-zero vaccine and biological product manufacturing plant, with a total investment capital worth VND2,000 billion (US$78.8 million), will be built in Viet Nam.
The Viet Nam National Vaccine Company (VNVC) has signed a contract with Germany’s Rieckermann Group, a world-leading designer in the field of vaccine and pharmaceutical manufacturing plants, to design the plant.
Ounce put into operation, the plant will be the first vaccine manufacturing facility in Viet Nam to fully meet the highest international standards in technology and environmental impact. The plant marks a new and important milestone in the sustainable development strategy for Viet Nam’s vaccination sector, contributing to the goal of making Viet Nam self-sufficient in vaccines, ensuring healthcare security, and enhancing the competitiveness of Viet Nam’s pharmaceutical industry on the global stage.
