Boosting development of green modes of transportation
After four months of operation, the Cat Linh-Ha Dong urban railway line in Hanoi has attracted more and more passengers. The first electric buses have also been launched to serve people in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. These types of transportation are highly appreciated by experts and people because of modern technology, convenience, and environmental friendliness.
Green transport is being promoted in Vietnam’s big cities according to the roadmap, however, there remain some barriers that slow down this process, especially in terms of financial resources, technology, and mechanisms.
