Training: Sustainable Power System Planning for Vietnam

The “Sustainable Power System Planning for Vietnam” training will focus on sustainable and integrated power system planning for Vietnam and will allow participants to get an in-depth view into co-benefits analysis and methodologies.

The Renewables Academy (RENAC) is offering this training together with GreenID Vietnam within the scholarship programme COBENEFITS.

The training will cover the following topics and sessions:

  • Integrated power system, its transition and planning
  • Indicators and co-benefits in power system planning
  • Traditional power system planning (TIPSP) methodology
  • Advanced power system planning (AIPSP) methodology
  • Planning tools for integrated power system planning
  • International practices in power system planning

Target groups are professionals from Vietnam in the public and private sector, working in the field of (renewable) energy, climate policy and planning.

The face-to-face training will take place in Hanoi, at the Hilton Garden Inn Hanoi (20 Phan Chu Trinh street, Hanoi) from Thursday 15 August until Friday 16 August 2019, 9:00 – 17:00.
